I agree. I love my Bionic and prefer it over the razor, but I doubt too many people outside of this forum would say that the Bionic is better. The Bionic gets hated on a lot, mostly by people who have never used it though.
I paid $100 after rebate for my Bionic... the price doesn't dictate which is the better phone. I think the Bionic used to be $299... The point is what do you value more? Kevlar and slightly faster processor or removable battery and (according to alot of ppl in this thread) a brighter screen... I would go with the Bionic... I did go with the Bionic actually so I stand by my decision.. LOL I use the extended battery most of the time and I get like 2 or 3 days out of one charge. I use the phone for a lot of web surfing and some youtube watching too so that's not bad.
In my PERSONAL opinion the razr looks somewhat childish, as if to appeal to the younger market, therefore its just a fad. I don't hate the razr or anyone using it, just given the choice, id go with the bionic all over again. It just feels more solid, and durable. I work landscaping and I always have ny phone in my pocket with dirt and whatever else makes its way in there, and not a scratch on it in half a year. No case; no screen protector. To me it feels like a real phone, not a dolled up toy like the razr. Once again; don't mean to offend any razr owners. Just my .02...
Gotta be the Bionic! The look, feel, and the weight, just "feels" like a more solid phone!!! When the Razr came out ,and to date, I never once had a feeling of buyers remorse! Lol. If I broke my phone today I'd still buy another Bionic!
Love the Bionic but the Razr is made of kevlar and is very durable. Had an old Sprint phone made of the stuff. Salesman sold me when he took one end and had me hold one end then had me twist the phone. Then took it and threw it against the wall. After that had me call home to show it still worked. Great phone, bad company.
I can respect that. I wanted a Galaxy Nexus, but the RAZR was what I could afford. I wish I could have gotten a RAZR Maxx atleast, but the RAZR still gets better battery than my X ever did
Yea if i had my pick between the 2 razrs i would def go with the maxx. Its too bad the maxx is overpriced. Also i think the razr maxx would be almost perfect if it had the sun friendly display of the bionic.
I had the og incredible b4 i got my bionic and i hated not being able to see the display outside.
Visibility in sunlight is a clear advantage to the Bionic, most definitely. But on the RAZR, its easy to see if you're on auto brightness. I do enjoy the deeper blacks on the RAZR compared to LCD and qHD screens. It makes blacked out and inverted themes look even better
