RAZR ICS Global Roaming Not Working

I'm running ICS on my stock Razr and cannot connect to GSM in Europe. I have the latest build (recieved in the soak test a little over a week ago), and have international roaming enabled with Verizon (verified this sevea limes now). I've been all over France over the last several days, and have not been able to connect anywhere.I've tried, power cycling, hard reset, toggling nework mode (Global, CDMA, GSM), forcing GSM, and just about every setting configuration in the test menu (*#*#4636#*#*). The only thing I can see that may indicate a poblem (beside the fact that I can see, but can't connect to any GSM networks

) is that I can't select the EURO GSM radio band in the test menu.
Does anybody have any suggestions for further troubleshooting? I'm over here for another 3 weeks for work, so any help will be much appreciated.

Have you tried using a French GSM micro SIM in the phone?

The reason I ask is that I haven't read or heard any confirmation that current Verizon LTE SIM cards are capable of authenticating on a GSM network. Since it is a LTE SIM, it's possible that it isn't designed to work with GSM networks, and that Verizon would have to issue a new SIM. If a local French SIM card works in the phone with the phone set to GSM/UMTS under Settings -> More -> Mobile networks -> Network Mode, then you'll know that the issue is more than likely with your SIM card or some other authentication issue on Verizon's side of things. The phone is supposed to be GSM unlocked, so it's worth giving it a try.

I have the same problem. I activated the service with verizon, but nothing worked in Europe. I tried updating the thing on arrival and had no signal to update with.

Idiots at Verizon call center were of no help at all.
