RAZR Maxx is freaking awesome

Anyone else happy after seeing this phone? It has a bigger battery than my bionic WITH the extended battery plus its thinner than any other top superphone on the market! Id be so pissed if I bought the first razr no offense. Id never consider trading my bionic until now. That's some serious competition. It's basically my bionic with extended battery plus more packed into a much thinner package skinnier than my bionic w the STOCK battery. Props to moto for such an efficient design and use of limited space to fit tons of power. Im proud to own a moto! This phone is the perfect use of the current available technology hands down. I love my Bionic but I honestly think id be happy with either one of these.

I'd be tempted to get the Maxx depending on what I could sell my Razr for.

I already get great battery life but more battery never hurt.

+1. Although I really dig the RAZR, I ultimately decided to stick with my Bionic due to the extra runtime afforded by the extended battery.

The RAZR Maxx will be the best of both worlds. I had been saving my last upgrade for the Nexus, but I just wasn't that impressed, so I never pulled the trigger and still have it. Unless something else amazing is announced before the Maxx is released, I think I'll pick one of these up. Seems like a perfect device - well maybe when ICS is released for it and Moto finally unlocks the bootloader.

Moto is not going to unlock the bootloader. They'll blame Verizon, ATT, whoever. It isn't going to happen. If you want unlocked bootloader, go with the Nexus or the Rezound. I finally left Moto and it's amazing all that can be done when a phone really is open. Even when you make mistakes, correcting them is so much simpler. I just don't get why they do this to customers that are so loyal.

The Maxx is cool, especially if you need bigger battery. Frankly, all the great phones released right after the Bionic is supurb. Especially the RAZR, GNEX, and maxx. Can't go wrong

+ 1 I really wanted to stay with MOTO but went with the Nexus because of boot loader and now couldn't be happier! It makes things so much easier.

I'm proud to own my Razr. Guess what? In 2-3 months there will be another new phone that is better than the Razr Maxx. Such is the smartphone world!

Checked Gazelle and they are offering 273 for the Razr, if you could some how get the Razr Maxx for the upgrade price you would only being paying 30 bucks.

You know what im upset about? people complaining that the razr owners got jipped. sorry to say loving my phone could care less in two years there will be a new one ill be upgrading to nuff said.

Thanks for the info but I would come out better on swappa.com or eBay. Going for around $400 on there.
