REducing Image File Size from Gallery, before sending

You are right - this is my first break away from a kids toy the last 4 years.
The issue I have - I want the best app at top of list - I don't care what it costs.
Seeing 200 apps related - Insane.

That's half the fun!! Looking for as many 4 1/2 out of 5 star apps as you can, or finding a 4 star with a feature you like and settling for it. Play around with it, it's meant to be replaced if you don't like it!

And fun fact, if you purchase an app but want to return it, contrary to what it says, you do have longer than 15 minutes. Usually you'll have AT LEAST an hour before the refund option goes away. Just an fyi!

Haven't had much success with some apps tried -
None so far are email associated - to where it comes up to resize before loading the email.
Some very odd behavior - where the app will resize it within the image app - then major delay to get it done -

Almost like the app is taking view of all the files first - very odd, but one wonders.
Why it takes more than 2 sec is suspicious.

So the mission continues....

I just upgraded my software on my S4 & discovered that the option to select my photo size for emailing had disappeared.
I was able to get it back by going into my email settings.

Click on the EMAIL icon
Click on the bottom left menu key & select SETTINGS
Click on Composing & sending
Click on Default image size

You will then see the list of options....
Original
Large (70%)
Medium (30%)
Small (10%)
Always ask

Mine had changed to a green dot in Original.
I changed it to Always ask & i now get the option to reduce my photos when emailing them.

I hope this helps.

OMG - You are the Master,
I've wanted this so badly to work for a long time -
I just test drove the process - and it's works flawless -

Thanks So Much -
If we were close by - We'd be doing a Major Happy Hour right now.

The cool part - my S4 just flashed his LED that this alert came while watching a movie.
Now I can finally text & email w/o embarrassing high file load - This is Great Captain.

No worries at all, I am by no means an expert on these things & I can't take full credit for finding the solution.
After I did my automatic software upgrade last weekend I was surprised to see that I didn't get the reduce file size option anymore when wanting to send a photo via email or text.
I goggled my question, found this site & saw you had the same problem as me!.
I knew that my phone could reduce the file size (because it had in the past), so I kept searching the net & found the answer.

Pleased to help :)

After all that, and I didn't thumbs up ya?
Should be taken to city center whipping post.
THANKS Huge Hayleynz,
and everyone else here as well.

I had to google this problem today, because the resize option
dropped off again. LOL
