Ok guys. I was rooted. 4ever rooted. and on the leaked 5.5.893. I downloaded a file i saw posted somewhere that would change your baseband back to stock. I used it. It worked..then i applied the real.ota in stock recovery... it worked. and i am still rooted. And the way i see it. Back on the correct upgrade path..

Wait... so ... what are you on now? 5.x.xxx?

5.5.893 is not the latest and greatest OTA. The best one to be on is 5.8.894.

that may be true but 5.5.893 is the most recent OFFICIAL ota. and by doing what i just you can get back on the official upgrade path. unless you have flashed 5.7.894 or 5.8.894. from the sounds of it the official ota to ics are not to far off. ill hold off a month or two and see what happens.
