Gonna flash and try this out soon. One quick question, with a kernel supporting the type of ext filesystem I wish to use, would apps2ext be hard to get working? Maybe with the link2sd app from the market.....

shouldnt be too hard if you have the kernel that supports it

there is a apps to sd built in as well in zerosettings/applications

Just took a test drive on the latest MIUI. Pretty neat stuff but not at all stable for me. I loved their camera and messaging apps though. Any idea how to get them?

im guessing miui and not mini thats the one rom i never took for a spin i will mess around with it tonight after work and see what i can do for you

Hey c2p, are you able to dig out the support for Chinese language pack? All my music is displayed as boxes lol. I remember when I was on LGB, it has support for Chinese language. Much help would be appreciated.

im guessing miui and not mini thats the one rom i never took for a spin i will mess around with it tonight after work and see what i can do for you

I tried moving the miuicamera.apk to system/app renaming it to camera and setting permissions. After rebooting it shows up in the app drawer but fc.

I wouldnt rename it leave it as miuicamera and try that

I have both camera apps now. The stock one works. I deleted it the other time. I tried to install it from system/apps it ran but said not installed.

Any idea about the delay waking? It's a bit slow after pressing power to wake. I tried several clock settings. Takes about 2 sec.

Everything even the web shows boxes lol. I searched so hard for it but no luck. I wish you can change language directly from English to Chinese on OG Droid.

I use Chevy 1.1ghz kernel and use setcpu min to 550 Max to 1100mhz. Mine works great.

I'm liking this rom a lot, lots of the **** I usually remove from the system partition (live wallpapers, media folder, etc) on other roms is already removed. And I'm getting more free RAM than with any other rom I've ever used including froyo roms. And all notifications sounds are removed already which is awesome because my external speaker doesn't work so those are a waste of space for me. With all the free space there is on the system partition I'm able to put some of my favorite apps there to save space on the data partition so I almost don't need apps2ext because I was able to put quite a bit of apps on /system while still ending with 30mb or so free space. Cush, could you provide an apk or a flashable zip with the default GB keyboard? The go keyboard is a no-go for me because you have to hold the alt key down on the physical keyboard instead of clicking it twice for alternate characters. Anyways, great job on the rom, I think this is now my favorite 2.3.5 rom.

Oh yea, saw someone else mentioned this....I was getting a lag when waking the device up with stock kernel but not with pete or chevys kernels....
