Release is great an all but....

Just some advice, I wouldn't be so quick to load your settings to ICS, remember it's a totally revamped OS.

But yes, it's fairly easy to push a zip file on a non-pc, with a PC simply do mount usb like normal.

I'm not gonna restore any settings. Just my apps and data. :)
 
You can do this if you have a Windows PC. If you have a MAC you cannot.

Yet another reason to own a PC... Apple just can't "play nice" with anything other than Apple.

As far as Back up options. Others have said it already. Mount and then ADB push or Titanium back up. IF it's data..... otherwise you can log into to the android marketplace on the web and it keeps all of the apps you've downloaded on record so you can just push them to the phone again without doing a market search.
