[Release] Succulent Desire v 7.0

I just wanted to quickly give thanks to Woodyman and the whole Droid Concepts Team, including anyone making themes, for the ROM. Really thank you. I just got my wifes Droid in the mail and MAN does stock 2.1 update 1 SUCK dirt, compared to what this team is producing. I can't believe that everyone isn't rooted and enjoying their phone to the extent that we are.

Again Thanks, and I'm am happy to be having fun helping out such a good group of people that all play nice together. Now where the heck is Gingerbread? Just kidding. :rofl3::rofl3::rofl3:
I am not! But this BFS ROM is holding me, it is flawless on my device:)

I am having an issue with the wireless Tether app. It doesn't seem to be working and I want to remove it and download again. The problem is it won't let me uninstall it and I can't find the apk in the system folder. Any ideas what it might be called so I can remove it and reinstall?

look in
/system/app

its called

"android.tether.apk"

Thanks, I saw that one but wasn't sure if it was the tether app from the market or the built in tether function.

How do you remove chrome to phone and amazonmp3?

The only way I know how to do it is to open up the update.zip u downloaded with winrar or 7zip. Then open "system" folder. Then open the "app" folder. Then delete the apk's that u dont want. Then put the update zip back on your sd card and reinstall. Although Amazon was never on this rom.

heres how to remove them once they are on the phone.... you need to either do this from ADB shell or root terminal on the phone.... root terminal is free in the market if you dont have it

press enter after each line

Code:
su
sysrw
cd /system/app/
rm com.amazon.mp3.apk
rm Chrome-to-Phone.apk
sysro
exit

don't need to reboot afterwards.

what version of the rom are you using? the amazon app should be removed from the beginning......

Instead of using those commands could you not just use root explorer and delete them from the system/app folder?

Apps Disappeared from Market

I installed SD 7 with Woody's theme a couple of days ago. It has run without any problems until just now. I just opened the Market app and clicked on the downloads button to see if I had any apps that needed to be updated and discovered that only about a third of my apps are listed. I had checked it earlier today and didn't notice any problem. In fact, I have downloaded updates since installing SD7. All the apps are on my phone (most on the phone itself, I have only moved to the SD card those apps that have the option the "Managing Applications" menu in settings). I looked up some of the apps that are on my phone but when they come up in the Market they don't show as being installed. For instance, I can open Kindle see the books installed but when I search for it in Market it shows as a download not as already being installed. I have not had this problem before. Any suggestions?

settings-->applications-->market--->clear data maybe? Never tried it with market but when my gmail screws up I do roughly the same thing. Might be worth a shot.

these roms are in a update.zip format so all you should need to do is rename the downloaded zip to update.zip. Then install via sprecovery

heres what error 25 means.

25 - The rom is in too many subfolders. ( I.e. nandroid/samplerom/samplerom, it needs to be nandroid/samplerom
