I have the same backgrounds and color problems as you stingray for Tapatalk and Facebook.
There is nothing wrong w my market app.

I've never used MetaMorph, so I wouldn't even know how. If someone wants to make one, I'd be cool with it as long as proper credit is given.
i could do this,i think but im not sure how compatable it would be with all the roms
I downloaded the handcent zip using my Droid. Used Astro to move the zip file to the SD Card. Rebooted my phone to recovery and installed zip.
All apps are working for me. Just the minor dark backgrounds on using apps like tapatalk and the screen turning white on Facebook.

I've deleted my original Handcent from system/apps, then loaded the kook's GE Handcent via recovery twice with no luck....I deleted and then tried to just load Handcent from the App Market, but I get a loading failure....something is screwy....:wacko:

Yeah, I'm running SS 4.7. I didn't delete handcent or any of the apps that Koo has in his OP. I just applied the zip from SD. The only thing I did was update Facebook to his version before applying.

Just downloaded..real nice using BB.04. Only issue I have even though I don't use it, the stock browserjust fc's . I use Dolphin btw
Well folks, after working with the backgrounds last night, I made the conscious decision to revert to black backgrounds. Even though the burgandy looked VERY nice IMO, the problem with 3rd party apps is that they both pull colors from framework and include their own for scrolling.
This is no bueno IMO. I choose functional over looks anyday. And I feel horrible when you guys have issues with ANYTHING.
I'm going to pick apart the browser today to see what the problem is. If I HAVE to, I'll just theme the icon and leave the rest stock. I'll play with it a little and see what I can come up with.
As far as the Handcent Stingray, I haven't used it on UD. You may want to install the stocker, clear cache, remove it, reboot and try installing mine. Other than that, I couldn't tell you how else to fix it.
If you still have problems, I'll flash over to UD later and try and figure it out.

I think i'll stick with the original Theme. Im a Redskins fan so i'm loving the color scheme as-is. BTW, what launcher are you using with the Gold Droid as the app launcher? UD?
For anyone interested, I've "themed" a few gold icons below of some of my apps. I can't swear that I've matched kook's gold, but it seems to look pretty good on the Golden Essence theme on my Droid.....use Bettercut to replace the stock icon on each....
