Yea. I think thats what it is. Because I didn't bootloop at all. Cakes did today but was when she forgot to do her dataonly.

I will get her to fix tomorrow if you want to wait. Put ud 2.5 boot animation in.

how do you back up just data?

The UD start up logo is fast when it loops then it gets slow... does it do this for about then minutes? LOL

No 10 minutes seems far to long. Likey I said some are saying that boot animation is giving bootloops.

Data only backup:
In recovery
select backup/restore
Advanced backup
Set backup name type "dataonly"
Hit enter key (arrow) only kb
Then use camera button to select data option. Unselect all others
Perform backup

When you need to Restore data only
In recovery
Select backup/restore
Advanced restore
Choose backup from sd card
Select "dataonly"
Make sure to unselect all options but data
Perform restore
Reboot

I use Clockwork Mod... is this option available on that? I hit backup and it just started doing its thang without letting me choose. LOL

ok Lady Angler thnx for the tip.. could you tell me where the boot animation is stored within the .zip itself so I can replace it?


edit: i found it and changed it out for UD 2.5, now it just boot loops with that boot animation instead of the new one. just letting you know.

Oh darn! I don't know then. So that must not be what is causing the problem for you guys. She gave me to test. Then uploaded after. I don't know if she changed something since.
So, I'm going to download Cakes link here and see what happens for me.

Do you use clockwork also Smokie?

If you are downloading via phone. Maybe don't do that.

I don't know what could be giving you two problems. :-(

Could you both list all the steps you did from download to install?

Is this no bueno? I was just so stoked to see the full rom themed by my new fave. I just dl'd on my phone bc I'm too lazy to go get my usb wire to mount (in bed-snoring dog, snoring husband...LOL)

Thank you Corina! I guess I'll finally go to sleep... haha. Its 1:30 am my time... ha. Will be waiting! Hope this gets figured out! I'm running UD 3.0.0. I've got it perfectly set up with Black n Bold so I'm waiting till that theme gets updated. My gf is jealous of all my Gingy goodness but is holding out till this theme is up. thank God for nandroid! :-D
