REMOVE unread message count

How do you remove the unread message count from the default sms app? (The little red number on the icon)

I'm using handcent and don't want to see the little red number on my default sms app.

I already disabled notifications for the default sms app.

I have a Samsung Droid Charge.

I have a Droid and use Handcent. Try this, Open Handcent, tap menu, tap settings, tap notifications settings, tap notifications settings, uncheck "show unread count"
