When rooting or modifying your Android Smartphone it is always a good idea to keep a stock image handy incase for any reason you encounter a soft brick or just incase you need to return to stock firmware for warranty reasons or to return or sell the device. One bad thing about flashing a stock image is that it will often completely wipe your phone removing all saved data and apps.
