Restoring pictures and music

Friday I dropped my Droid screen went black got the new one today but I need to get the stuff that was on the old phone storage (not SD card) on to my new Droid. Problem is when I plug the old one into the computer I can't select to use it as a disk drive because I can't see the screen. Ugh please if u have any advice id appreciate it very much

pictures and music should be stored on the SD card...

Some photos were no music at all on SD card. Is there any way to access the phone storage with the ousb cable and pc without the Droid screen being visible

im basing this off of android bc i dont have teh Dinc, but you need to be able to see the screen to change the mode that the computer accesses the phone. VZW might be able to do something but off the top of my head, i cant think of a way to do it without using the screen
