Rezound the Holiday Sales Ninja Sleeper?

Returned my rezound for some dead pixels. 3 people were in the process of buying one.

Doctors office right now, one other person has one.

Been seeing a lot of people with this phone and just a few with the razr or bionic. Anyone else surprised by the amount of people they have seen with this dark horse device.

I'm not. The Razr is being pushed like some sort of futuristic terminator type device. Some people see that and say "it's too complicated". Watch the commercials...The Rezound has a fun commercial with stuff blowing up because the sound is just so awesome. The Razr has some blades stabbing the phone and a distant voice telling you how awesome it is. From a marketing POV, the Rezound wins.

The Rezound just looks more happy go lucky. Motorola is making their devices to be cutting edge Skynet technology. Like the Terminator is going to come back through time to retrieve THIS bionic or THIS RAZR because it will make or break the future of the world. Haha. I think they may have over exaggerated the tech and the advertising of their brand. Cool commercials, but some folks just aren't into that. Just like some people aren't into the Dre Beats brand. They are more into phones that work. Rezounds work and from what I hear RAZR phones work too. it's what ever people are drawn to for whatever reason.

I've actually been looking to see who has the Rezound or the RAZR. I ride the train and bus everyday. haven't seem many yet. I feel lucky to be one of the first wave.

Considering I usually ditch a phone after it becomes a "status" symbol. I'm happy to be part of the minority.

I'm lovin mine. Razr was a no go mainly because of the crappy screen. Nexus was a no go since you can't actually get one, its still buggy, made by Samsung, and it also has a pentile display. The display on the Rezound is just gorgeous and so far it seems to be a top notch phone.

The razr isn't a bad phone. The screen isn't crappy, but it ain't like the rezoundscreen. Some people can see past the screen door look.

I think a lot of people are just seeing the Razr as overhyped and funky. Personally I think its too thin and the thinness with the extra width makes it a very odd piece to hold. And while I can't 100% confirm it, since I work with Kevlar and carbon fiber, I personally think they're false advertising the back as being Kevlar because Kevlar is NOT rubbery like that, and that fake weave pattern on the back is just pathetic.

LOVE my Rezound. It is, to me, the perfect combination of size, weight, style, and functionality.
