I use a cut from an original song of mine.
I am certain when it is my phone ringing.:biggrin:

I download songs from youtube and convert them to ringtones with shareware. Right now I'm using "Linus and Lucy" for my wife, and the theme to the 70's TV show "The Night Stalker" for everyone else.

And for notifications, I use the computer voice from Star Trek TNG saying "Incoming Subspace Signal."

I only have two ring tones on my phone. Both are from Phineas and Ferb. One is the theme song, and the other for when my wife calls is from the episode Lawn Gnome Beach Party. Both came from Zedge.

I have Vincent Price's thriller laugh for SMS and a Divine Heresy song for calls when its not in vibrate.

Mines usually on vibrate, but out of all the people I know, I'm the only one that has an actual telephone ring for a ringtone. I always know it's mine since it sounds like a real telephone.

Usually mine is always set on vibrate as well. I only turn the volume up when I'm not at work or at a place where I don't mind the noise.
