Robinhood for Android is Now Available!

So how is everyone doing?
Man, I hope no one took my advice. If so I am SO sorry. My account is total crap right now.
I have lost almost 50% of my initial investment. My initial $100 investment is worth $51.90 right now.
MWW trading at $4.96. I paid $7.83 for it.
Then I had this brilliant idea to put the rest of my money into a cheap stock...wait for it to go up and sell. Figured I would try and use this account to make some quicker cash...or at least get my MWW money back.
I watched a bunch of cheap stocks for a bit...then I jumped in: bought 26 shares of VTNR for $2.15. VTNR. They recycle industrial waste. All research I had done looked like this might be a company on the rise... and it has done nothing but drop since the very day I bought it. Currently trading for 0.86 cents. :( :(
*sigh...

I continue to hold these stocks just hoping one of them will at least get back to close to where it was...but I may just sell it all soon and try a different tact.

My 100 dollars is worth 40 so still beating me! Every stock I've bought has dropped, with one getting a class action lawsuit against them right after I dropped it.

I sold what I had with a loss of a few dollars because we needed the money more than we needed the chance to make some off of it. Haven't had the funds to invest again, but I intend to start back up when I've got a little extra to spare.

I am at $72.22 from $100 invested. I expected it to be much worse bc the market has been horrible and getting worse.

I bought 160 shares of MGN for 0.31 per shares, I've been watching them for the last year and they've recently had some major news that caused their stock to go from about .30 to .48 so when it came back down to .30 I bought and now I'll hold until it goes back up.

don't get discouraged because it's dropping still, this isn't day trading, unless the company goes completely belly up there's a chance and it's not worth losing the money when there's still potential. Find a niche market, focus on it and watch a stock while researching the company.

best of luck.

Do not sure I understand the question. If you put $100 in now and don't buy any stocks, yea you can get your hundy right back. Now if you buy a bunch of staples stock for $100 and it loses all value.

Staples stock is actually a good buy right now. It's been crap the last few years and is currently sitting around 8 bucks a share. (Down from around 21 a share just 3 years ago) However, they recently acquired Office Depot/Office Max, in which the sale should be final in Q1 of this year. They're just waiting on regulatory approval. Once that happens the stock should go up significantly making them they largest office supply company in the world and dominating the market.
It's a good buy right now, though you could wait and see if it drops another dollar or two, but.. if you wait too long you could miss the boat. Once it's finalized the stock will likely double overnight.

Really? I missed that one. They just closed our local Staples. We don't have either of the Office branded stores here either.

Woot, not much wish I could invest more right now... Like 5k instead of 50 but hey a wins a win
