Just tried to flash the comm rom 1.3 when I tried to reboot phone from recovery, it went to samsung logo and didn't move so I just flashed the evil back on for now.

And can I just use the newest and not do the earlier versions? I saw somewhere that you need the 1.0 to use the 1.1 .

Yep. No wipes required. Just flash and reboot.

Apps Disappeared

I happened to notice that one of my apps (GoSMS Pro) disappeared after flashing the rom. When I attempt to reinstall it, I get an error stating that I have insufficient memory, but my internal storage is at 1.39 Gb?

Have you flashed a kernel other than the one that comes with Community ROM?

Yes you just flash 1.3 through CWMR. This ROM is superior to SuperClean in many ways. For one, it's still being developed. SC has been retired. It includes more features and is based on a newer version of Froyo. There are also new themes being churned out for it about every day.
