Ok, I hate to ask a noob question, but what is SBF? I've rooted my phone, both my previous Droid and my new Droid X2, and I can get in and use Recovery. What is SBF for?

SBF Is When You Brick Or Need To Get Completely Back To Stock.

It Puts A "New" Copy Of Everything That You Got It With.

And Also I'm Super Impressed With Affinity. This Guy Did A Top Notch Job. I Also Deodexed It Last Night So It's Another 100x Better.

Ask him, his rom, his baby. He may already have out done, may have a reason not too. May not want help. Ask so your not stepping on any toes. Devs this phone are too rare right now.

Alright I Will. That Wasn't A Direct Question To You, It Was Just A General Question. Wasn't Trying To Step On Any Toes. Sorry For That Misunderstanding. PMing Him Now.

is it necessary then to sbf before you flash a new rom?

Soocold Is Right, Also If You Have A Nandroid Of When You Were Stock Before You Started Flashing Other ROMs You Could Use That Too. So Either Stock Nandroid Or SBF. Your Call.
