[ROM] [BETA] CyanogenMod 7 for Droid 2

The monster zip is the gb leak isn't it? If you're on cm7, just sbf like normal

CM74D2 (1250Mhz-v6 supercharged)

Ok all...the problem isn't after all my wifi...I had my router somehow set to restricted access..I don't know why or how all this time I blamed the phone and my tampering..lol but I know I just connected...to another source but it is connecting until I fix the settings on my router..I can thank my kids for playing with the settings I guess..lol no sbf here...

Flashed 52 (I think it was 52 anyways) and holy boot time. For a while there I thought I was boot-looping since I was on the CM7 screen for uncomfortably long.

Beyond that hicupp, 8-22-2011 official is smoothly working.

That happens sometimes, especially if it is the first time you have flashed CM7, or if you wipe data while switching between nightlies.

Has anyone tried build 54? Wicked freaking long changelog

Yeah, seeing the changelog got me excited too. I saw Bluetooth mentioned several times in it, and I was hoping it included a fix for the Bluetooth voice dialing issue. It didn't :( . Nothing noticeable changed for me though.

The GB kernel version mentioned above fixes the BT voice dial issue.

Yeah, but camera and camcorder don't work, and battery increments are 10%. CM7 ON a GB-based kernel has potential, but until these and other other issues are fixed, I'm gonna stick with the one on the Froyo kernel, missing BT voice dial and all.

O I definitely agree. Camera/camcorder is much more important to me than BT voice dial (especially since I have no BT devices at all...) I'm just saying that it has been fixed with the new kernel. There seems to be some other quirky issues with it too, but there is hope that the GB kernel version may be more stable than the Froyo kernel version very soon. I'm very hopeful for the future.

I would be too quick to assume the battery would be much better, if the problem with the battery on froyo is the wifi updater/whateverer..(lol) I'm loving it though..fixs I'm sure are around the corner..I'm just looking for another flash...lol

I think it was Rev who posted that he had been running for something like 4 hours and it was still reading 100%. Now, since 1% battery isn't working, that only means that it's at or above 95%, but that's still pretty amazing.

EDIT: yeah, here's what he said:
"so far so good... 10% increments, i'm at 4 hours and it still reads 100% lol"
