[ROM] [BETA] CyanogenMod 7 for Droid 2

It's a tweak that hopefully optimizes the way the phone handles ram. It claims to add a bit of snappiness to your performance. It's been working for me.
There is also the imoseyon tweak which in addition to the above, modifies systcl (which makes changes to various kernel parameters like minfree kb, virtual machine cache pressure etc...). It in theory should help with performance and battery life. Google search systcl to learn more. I understand it only to a degree. I'm by no means an expert on the subject. I do use them and can attest to their impact on my device

It's just one of those mornings.
I wasn't sure about the 2.3.5 base. I know it's minor and I'm sure there is no reason to wipe, but because of my lack of certainty/knowledge on the subject i decided to wipe to be safe. Plus, I wanted a fresh start.
Flashed ram script and imoseyon as well.

What's "ram script"? I've never heard of it.

I reinstalled an older version of busybox to try the v6. I try opening it through script manager, but it keeps saying error in syntax and a bunch of rows that say bad number. Any suggestions?

Have you tried the V6? I'm currently running the imoseyon tweaks, and I've read on his site that he includes the latest busybox, which will clash with the V6. I just wanted to know if you were having any errors before trying this myself.

Yes I am having errors (see my post above) I flashed an earlier ver of busybox (I believe), but it's a no go so far.

Seems like a dumb question (I really don't know much about this stuff), but is it possible to install the V6 and configure it so that you wouldn't need the imoseyon tweaks?

If I were to flash these scripts, would I need to flash them again after every nightly, or am I good to go with just one flash?
Also, has anyone tried flashing the new nightly without wiping data yet?

I'm sure you'll be fine without a wipe. Not sure about v6, but I flash imoseyon after each nightly

You have to flash them again after every nightly. I'm not sure about this latest script, but I know that the previous ones could be loaded without the wipe. I'm wiping on this one because mine needs a fresh install anyway.

I think most of the sysctl imoseyon tweaks are indeed included in the kick ass kernel tweaks script that I assembled.

Well, the latest Cyanogen w/ 2.3.5 has bricked my device. You CANNOT SBF after installing 2.3.5. I'm stuck at the Motorola logo, and I've tried numerous times to save it.

Edit: It eventually came back on.
