I always had problems with Wifi as well, but I know for a fact it works fine. That's all my dev phone uses for internet, since it's not an activated phone, it's solely on Wifi.

Wifi has always been, shall we say, "buggy" on Android. I use WPA2-AES only encryption on mine. Some people have better success with WPA2-TKIP.

Your best bet, to diagnose the issues, is to attempt to connect with no security on your Wifi at all, then go from there. Try different settings for security and see what works. My router (a D-Link DIR-615-C1) works best with WPA2-AES, so I would suggest trying that, but if it doesn't work, play with the settings. It's a problem with the Android OS in general.

I have not had one problem. I was running fission, did an sbf, updated, then rooted and flashed fenom. Took less than an hr with making a backup. Runs great, better than fission IMO. Awesome work.

Hmm, great response Fenuxx, never thought of it that way.

The bluetooth button on the dialer during a call does not work in Fenom, nor opening the notification bar.

I use WPA2-AES as well because I have a client bridge set up. Its a 2.4 Ghz Wireless N signal and never once have I had any problems with wi-fi. :s

Regarding wifi, i'm curious why some roms seem to present the wps option when it's available, while other roms do not. This rom works great, and i'm trying it now because one of the determining factors is whether a rom presents a wps option or not.

I've been running 0.9.3 for a few days now, and the only thing I've seen so far is that the gallery process fc's when the system boots, but it doesn't bother me.

Very nice rom.

Have been running 0.9.3 for a week now, so far it's very stable.

Only thing I notice is that battery life seems a bit shorter then it was with Fission.
What I notice in battery manager is that "Phone Idle" and especially "Cell Standby" have a high percentage.

In Fission "Display" was always on top, followed by a few apps, and then Cell Standby, Phone Idle, Android System, Android OS (these last four always had about 1-10% each).

Now it's usually:
1 - Display
2 - Cell Standby (15-25%)
3 - Phone Idle (15-25%)
4 - App
5 - App
6 - Android System
7 - Android OS

I'm on a GSM/3G network.

So I think I'm sold; I'm switching to Phenom from stock, provided no big problems arise. I plan to flash from an SBF file after an OTA. I have no worries about this as I plan to follow directions. This maybe a silly question and not entirely specific to Phenom itself, but as far as all of the apps I've downloaded and payed for, is there an easy way to make a list and maybe have the market remember them all? This may be a default feature and I just don't know it. If I have to pull out a pen and paper, no biggie. Thanks.

Your apps are linked to you gmail account. As long as you use the same one you should not have a problem. Flash sbf then do ota update then flash phenom.

Thank you, thank you. Also, again not completely on topic (I did do a quick forum/google search), but what is the current status with using US sim cards within the US? Be nice to have an AT&T prepaid on the off chance they have reception somewhere Verizon doesn't.

Theoretically the market will remember all your apps and download them back to your phone once you change the ROM to the Phenom. If you want to be double sure, you can buy the Titanium Backup and backup all your apps and in case then after you change (read upgrade) your ROM you can go and restore all the apps. If you need instructions let us know and we can help you out... N'joy
