I tried this ROM today, and I really like it. The only problem that I'm having is that Motospeak/text to voice/Speak Now are not working. I've installed all the Text-to-speech settings, but still nothing. I noticed other threads that talk about a conflict with DSP manager, but I don't have DSP manager on my Droid. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!

I love this ROM, brought my droid back to life. Two things that I noticed that are bugging me are on v12.3 (not sure if they are fixed in the latest v12.5):

1. When the 3D drawer is enabled in launcher pro and I open the drawer holding the phone vertically then turn it horizontally, all the icons in the drawer get stacked on top of each other as 1 icon. They return to normal as soon you scroll them, looks like a redraw is not there.

2. I was using the camcorder recording then received a phone call, I denied the call and tried to go back to the camcorder but it wouldn't. Instead it kept giving me a message, cannot access camera and then it force closed. During the next phone call the phone rebooted.

Small things but I though I would share. I probably should mention, I'm on 1.1Ghz ChevyNo1 kernel .

I read this thread and it looks interesting. I am just not really sure what running a custom rom will give me over the latest stable from big red. I really like my Droid and have enjoyed using it. Are there some screen shots for this Rom somewhere? What are the specific advanages over the standard build?

I've flashed a lot of ROMs but this was a first - there were no Ringtones and no Notifications. Each just had a radio button that said SILENT.

I'm sure I've done something wrong, seems a bit austere.

Thanks! Downloaded earlier this evening, so far so good. I'm coming from project elite looking for a Rom that's better on the battery. I read this thread but didn't see anyone ask where is the charity settings option? The other Rims usually have it there under regular settings. I want to lock the messaging app right away, among some other tweaks I'd like :-)
Look forward to a reply thanks!
