I can't control the google auto update stuff, but I kept the old Market in the google apps zip just to let the issues get worked out first with the market. as far as now what you can do since it wont let you uninstall, use root explorer to find the market in your /data/app directory and delete the .apk from there, that will remove it if it is installed to /data/app which would be my guess.

There is no uninstall update for the market. At least I didn't see it. Can I flash back to my nandroid of DC11 that has the old market and purchase my app then flash back to 12? It should sync and show up?

I deleted the .apk with root explore then went back and got the market .apk from the Gapps zip and installed it back in...still new market. I guess I will wait til the bugs get worked out. Thanks for the help though.

they are hard to find but the Swype themes usually come in a metamorph format. it's been a while since i've seen any posted.

to buy an app on the new market you'd prolly fair better if you bought it from the online market then it should install next time you open market form your phone.

For anyone that doesn't want the market to update itself just rename marketupdater.apk to marketupdater.apk.bak in /system/app

Minor issue I ran into, when I dock my phone at home using the newer dock screen, it will come on like it's supposed to. After awhile instead of the screen saver kicking in (where the time moves around the screen slowly) it just reverts back to my normal desktop. If I hit home while it's docked it bring up the multimedia dock again.

I installed the old dock last night using the zip on the OP and it stayed that way all night.

This is on DC12 with the B&W theme.

Low voltage 250-800mhz, interactive governor.

This could be an issue with the xmls i edited in the deskclock apk. Ill check it out for you

did you try a reboot? Same thing happened to me, a simple reboot fixed it for me.

i just uninstalled and reinstalled and it didnt work. Gonna try a reboot now

reboot 1x allows me to navigate to a place but it still says login failed and i get numerous notifications asking for account permissions for google maps

about to reboot again now
