[ROM] [ROM] Droid Concepts Froyo Releases [BETA versions]

Live with Build 10. Is it normal to lose some widgets and access to several Apps (not just Google Apps)?

ummm, didn't happen to me, and I have it installed currretnly without wiping from Build 09 -> Test Build 10 -> Final Build 10, no wipes and all functioning fine on my end, didn't lose anything in the process, but I will be wiping it and setting it back up tonight/tomorrow..

I figured it out. For me I copied over 10's zip, the Stock Font and installed those manually.

That left a slew of little breaks.

THEN I installed Google Apps and that put everything back but the Google Seach widget which was easy enough to fix.

100% back now and looking good.

One thing I didn't anticipate is that in v9 with the Stock Fonts I still have a black notification bar. Now I have a white notification bar. Kinda like it as it's very stock. Just didn't expect it to change.

Running very smoothly now.

One prob so far, I flashed one of chevys newest kernel and the built in overclocking won't survive reboot.

The notification bar colors can now be changed... So, make it black if you wish...

I wiped everything and installed... Gmail still force closes, but I am rebooting now and will see what happens... maybe I need to reinstall gapps?

Update: After reboot, two of my three gmail accounts work fine. But, my primary (and most needed) account keeps f/c in gmail. I even tried to turn off synch for it and turn it back on and it immediately caused gmail to f/c... I'm gonna try to reinstall gapps.

Edit 2: Ok, reinstall of gapps and cache clear didn't work. Any ideas?

Edit 3: I just thought of something. I think I had this problem last time too. If I remember correctly, I deleted gmail.apk from system/app and reinstalled from market. I am going to try this now.

Did you wipe data on first install?

I would start over from scratch.

Ok, I figured it out!

As I suspected, deleting the app from system/app and reinstalling it from the market fixed the issue. No more F/C's...

My test phone required no wipe, this phone wants at least 3 wipes, so as we know every device is very different.

Davros, any ideas why the built in overclocking won't stick with reboot? Using one of chevy's newest kernels. BTW this has to be the best froyo rom I've ever used. Awesome work and congrats to you and woody!
