Ok. I am interested in installing this ROM. I do have some questions though.

1. What about the OTA? I assume that if I want an update to something, I do it manually through the
market or the ROM manager.

2. How much, if any of the functionallity of the phone will be lost?

3. Can things like ADW.Launcher and Launcher Pro be used?

4. What happens if I need to use the warranty?

Launcher pro works great with the fission rom.

New ota 2.4 announced for d2g. To return to stock do I just load the nandroid backup from before the fission install via clockwork? Will definately return to defuse rom when fusion rom is out

Is there anyway you could add swype back, main thing I miss from switching.

Also in the first post it says overclock ready, how would you go about oc'ing? Custom frequencies in setcpu?

Ok I just rooted my droid 2 global and have ROM Man. on it but only see Extras, Matt4542, Beesley's Build.pro, and Fabolous to select from. Why don't I see the Fission on ROM Man...? Also when I click the link to DL on the first post I do not see where to DL it on Fission page...? Thanks for the help

I think you are using Rom Manager from the Market...Fission has it own...Download it here(version 1.2.4) Fission Rom Manager | Team DeFuse

I think you are using Rom Manager from the Market...Fission has it own...Download it here(version 1.2.4) Fission Rom Manager | Team DeFuse

I know there is only one theme out there at the moment. I am assuming this is something that can be unapplied if i dont like it?

The thirdeye theme is great. Im all about the new top menu bar thirdeye offered.
Not sure if its theme or rom but when calls come in the caller's picture is pixelated. Anyone else notice the same?

Not here!Have had a lot ofcalls from my friends mostly w/ picture id but i don't see any pixelized prob...

I tried the third eye theme while not bad it just wasn't for me... I'm holding out for a Gingerbread theme or even just a blackbar mod would do haha
