I had to email him to get the download info.

How do I verify that the phone updated successfully? I tried just updating over top of Fission 2.1 w/o wiping.

About Phone in Settings should've changed to Fission 2.2.2.

I just looked and didnt see any mention of the ROM in About Phone.

It should say something about Fission under "System Version." If not, you should question AngDroid about it. Previous to 2.2.1, the version never changed. I'm not sure if that's how 2.2.2 is built.

im using fission 2.2.2...under the system verision in about phone it says fission_FRG83_2.2.2

Yes it should say Fission FRG83 2.2.2

I also just flashed the 2.2 update right over 2.1. Did you mount the system and data before installing the update zip?

Nope! Totally forgot. I'm not used to this Droid2 flashing stuff.

I'll fix it tonight.

Don't forget that when it's mounted it says "unmount". I always found this confusing and have messed it up myself.

Another way to know for sure if the 2.2 is what's on your phone is the new reboot option when powering down the phone...that's new under 2.2 that was not an option on 2.1..that's is assuming for some reason you don't see the version # in about phone..
