[ROM][JB 4.1.1]Unofficial AOKP for Droid 4

I downloaded STOCK-JB-aokp_maserati_unofficial_Nov-25-12.zip. Where do you recommened I get JB Gapps from, (Should I use inverted or not? And could i get a link :) ) And once I have the JB GApps is it a simple matter of following the instructions on the first page of this thread?

I'm using the inverted gapps as well, just flash it after flashing the rom.

Also, you can use Myfishbear's overclock and speedscripts to make JB even faster.

Where can the Inverted gapps be found? I checked the link in the first post, and the link no longer seems to work.

Edit: Nevermind :P. I guess trying to run the default camera makes the camera inoperable until the OS restarts.

doesnt that kill ur battery faster?

Inverted gapps are darker so I'd imagine it would save your battery.

There's all kinds of schools of theory when it comes to OC/UV. Undervolting definitely cannot affect battery life negatively; it also makes the phone run cooler, and heat is the enemy of batteries. Just make sure it's stable (no lock ups, random reboots, etc).

When it comes to OC, I'd imagine running lower clock speeds would save the battery, in general. However, some say that since a faster speed would complete a task sooner, it may conserve more battery.

Profiles/governors affect this as well. I have my phone set to 800 max frequency when unplugged and it's smooth enough for me, but my priority is battery life.

I use the 1200ulv because I like being able to see an accurate representation of my CPU's time spent in each frequency using CPU Spy.

Other things to try are setting lower default brightness levels, a shorter screen timeout (I couldn't take 15 seconds but 30 works for me), and synching less often (I have Outlook/work email set to sync every 15 mins instead of push).

Question to you sir, or anyone else that can answer. I just flashed this rom and GApps and it works wonderfully. The only problem is that the SHIFT key in the physical keyboard replaces CAPS LOCK, and CAPS LOCK doesn't work at all. The caps lock light does not light up no matter what I press, but SHIFT seems to act as caps lock. How can I fix this?

Do you guys have a version of AOKP with working wifi tethering? Or even USB tethering, for that matter?

Or maybe working Bluetooth phone?

The caps lock button does not work. Shift key should function as normal. Hit shift key twice to activate caps lock.

Running jsnweitzels 11/24 build and wifi tether works fine for me.

is there an official bug list? bug includes any features that have been dropped from the latest ICS stock ROM...

wondering also if the caps lock issue is on the list to be fixed or is it a write off?

thanks...
