Okay, I suggest you try downloading the file again. Most likely it is a corrupt download. Has happened to me before.

Oh, what phone are you trying to install this on?

droid 2 with 2.3.20 verizon update, freshly rooted, i tried ownloading the file 3 times. going to try right now again.

i keep getting a error when doing the full star wars pack after selecting install zip and so on. i do have 2.3.20 on my D2, could that be the reason?

Well the FULL STAR WARS in the VZW2.4.5 ROM that the R2D2 comes with. It is not a theme.

ROM Manager doesn't play well with D2. You will have to use D2 Bootstrapper and reboot recovery to install it manually like the OP says.

Here, try this zip file. This is the ROM I have stored away that worked for me.

Any of the 2.4.5 ROMs will work on your 2.4.5 based phone.

I just recently installed the VZW_2.4.5_Super_Clean_ROM, first let me say I'm very happy with this ROM and it installed without any issues, but I did run into a few problems inside the ROM(no big things though). Now I'm not sure if these are ROM issues or just issues for my particular installation but I thought I'd share anyway.

First, the Google Search bar doesn't work. When I tap on the widget and I start entering text it force closes every time. I've tried uninstalling the update for the app and reinstalling it but still no joy.

*Solved*Second(this could be a Launcherpro issue?), the auto-rotate for the screen is messed up. When I disable auto-rotate in the display settings I can no longer use the on-screen landscape keyboard.*Solved*

Has anyone else experienced these issues? Thanks everyone, & a special thanks to the dev.

This rom is very old and has been replaced many times over.
