[ROM][WIP] Cyanogenmod 11 for G2 VZW

I just flashed 11-26 version and Google now isn't working. I am using pa gapps. Everything worked fine on 11-22 and 11-25 version. Anyone else having this problem or any ideas to fix?

I am using the 11/19 PA gapps and Google Now is working for me on the 11/26 build.

For those having any issues with Google Now , the always on listening feature part may require an update to the US language pack.
So while the GAPPS might be updated, try checking the downloads for language as well. worth a shot and helped me fix my quirks.

so now when I say "ok, google" she's always happy to respond :)

getting ready to load this 4.4 up , then test out how my theme looks on this :D

Anyone notice that md5 download doesn't match what the server says? Downloaded many times. Actual sum is 54...eb4
The mirror on Google drive page 13 also shows that sum

Use the PA odex gapps if you want to use ART. Works flawlessly and fast better battery. Only program that doesn't work is tiebacks and xposed framework

adb shell "mount -o rw,remount /system"

C:\adb>adb shell "mount -o rw,remount /system"
mount: Operation not permitted

Wierd. any idea?

Ah nevermind.. Saw this somewhere else

In case anyone has the same problem in the future:

$ adb shell
$ su
# mount -o rw,remount /system
Both adb remount and adb root don't work on a production build without altering ro.secure, but you can still remount /system by opening a shell, asking for root permissions and typing the mount command.

Everything seems to run great. That lag is still apparent though. Especially noticeable with a live wallpaper on the nexus 5 launcher

You can also mount r/w in ES File Explorer and then go into Xposed and install, that's what I did.

Add some screens and widgets and run something like phase beam you'll see it Sent from my LG-VS980 using Tapatalk
I tried with 4 screens and widgets and phase wallpaper. I do see a little hiccup when swiping left to right but not that much. I did only use static widgets (no live ones). Maybe the absence of ART has something to do with it? I'm more apt to chalk it up to the launcher being a new thing from Google and just needs some fine tuning. Nova is buttery smooth but i really like the GEL launcher. Hope they update it at some point.

Set phase beam
Set it up same way on my nexus 4. Nexus 4 is perfectly smooth while my g2 lags :(
