I think...again, these are educated guesses based on following cm and these builds. Cm offers out their codes and people get moving on a working build. First to have a stable build gets invited in and they help with the nightly and tweaking. That is how I have broken it down.

Ah ok. So the changes on that page for the G2 in CM11 are ones that the group coded, but this unofficial build may not have those same changes merged just yet? For example, the page I linked shows that Torch quick tile was added, but the newest nightly in this thread, 11/27 build, does not have Torch as an option still.

And if that is the case, then why are there changes like that shown specifically for the G2 there? If there is no official CM11 for G2 yet..

And where is the changelog for this specific nightly? There must actually be changes if a nightly is manually being released, no?

Over in xda's thread the dude doing the cm 10.2 thread posted he was focusing on cm 11 from this point on. He posted this build and said he would not post another unofficial build and that nightlies would start in a few days.

That alone confused me so best I can say is, I don't know. Lol. Really, the op of this thread went on vacation or something and someone else that is helping stepped in. I am a pawn in a much larger game. Lol

I am aware that did not help at all but it's the best I got.

That alone confused me so best I can say is, I don't know. Lol. Really, the op of this thread went on vacation or something and someone else that is helping stepped in. I am a pawn in a much larger game. Lol

Haha, ok no worries! Just wish there was a clear changelog for all nightlies, as the code gerrit/merges/review thing (lol) can be confusing to look at sometimes and hard to tell what applies to you or not.

Once it is brought into the fold, there will be clear change log. Right now we have the wild wild west. Lol. Under about phone / cm updates / you check for them and once they find one just tapping on it brings up the change log. You can download and install from there. Once part of cm officially that is.

He is the "official" maintainer for the vs980. He is going to clean up the code a bit to get rid of legacy code. There should be nightlies coming in a few days. We will then have official cm . He probably just wanted to put out a preview build out to let everyone know it's being worked on. AFAIK dalingrin and rhcp aren't affiliated.

On newest nightly here, 11/27 - just experienced sleep of death after locking/powering off screen with normal back power button. Tried turning on first also with normal back power button, not Knock On, and just did not wake up with button (or with Knock On). Couldn't get it to go back on whatsoever, had to do long power button press to power back on completely. Ugh..

same here but with the latest builds i feel like im not getting them as often. i have only had one today so far. its so hard to go back to stock after using anything AOSP though

Day two on the 1126 build and not a single SOD. Why do some people get them and others do not?

Only issue I noticed, which is minor, is when I am talking on the phone the proximity sensor does not always work when I pull the phone away from my face.
