Ok I got mine working. I went into TWRP and backed up my curent CM 11. I then restored the backup I took before I flashed my first ROM (it was before the OTA update). Got a GPS lock finally and then restored my CM 11 backup I just took previously and got a lock on GPS. Thanks guys.

did you format /system before your restore to CM? i have always formatted /system before flashing a new rom and wonder if that will affect gps after i restore back to CM (im currently restoring CleanROM to get the GPS lock, then will flash back to CM).
I didn't format anything nor clear any caches or anything. I don't think you have to if you're just restoring a backup...? I have no idea.

Sure it's been asked/answered, but I didn't see it. Does knock on/off work? I'd seen every 4.3 and 4.4 ROM having working knock on, but no knock off. Is this true here as well?

Also true here. On works, off doesn't. However, I believe knock off can be achieved via some app on the Play Store, haven't attempted it myself though.
Get "Screen Off and Lock" by Katecca, free app and works like a charm. I add it to my launcher main keys and knock-off is achieved.
You can also with the latest build add a screen off to your nav ring. Another option to bypass having an extra app if you don't want it.
As to others with the GPS problems, when I got my phone, I played with it stock for a few days. Never took the OTA. Rooted and have been on a flashing spree.
Have not had any issue with getting a lock on or keeping the lock. Some days it's a tad slower, but never more than 15-20 seconds.
Aside from a few small hiccups ( only 1 reboot while in the middle of a phone call ) this is been rock solid.
Can't wait till it's fully merged into the CM pipeline and all the other goodies get added in!!
The roaming symbol means nothing, you are not roaming, 3G works fine. I will put up another build soonish, that will take care of the carrier name as well.
It's a simple eri.xml edit (to add in verizon wireless ) or whatever you may want.
As, this rom is pretty much rock solid and doesn't reboot. I really do not think I will be updating it much unless I see new CM features to add to it which are worth the build time.
This ROM is solid, and I just want to thank you. Friday is payday and a donation is in order!
What does "getting a lock" mean? I'm on stock, rooted, with TWRP ready to try this out but I want to know what I need before I flash.

Along with the "Preferred Network" and the R showing in the signal whenever 4G isn't available (which looks like is being fixed next version), I also found that CM's 4G toggle in the Notification Drawer not working. It seems to recognize the touch, but nothing happens (as far as I can tell).
I know with the battery life this thing has, I probably shouldn't need to switch back and forth to/from 3g and 4g, I guess it's just an old habit coming from a Galaxy Nexus, but having the toggle work would still be nice.

rhcp its not the eri.xml that needs editting to get rid of "Preferred Network" or "Partner Alliance". It should be a simple update of the LgeLteRIL.java. Once thats done Verizon Wireless or Extended Network shows up perfectly. Now If I could just figure out what has my rotation screwed up portrait = landscape landscape = portrait but with auto-rotate off portrait = portrait.
