I am having issues with text messaging. I am getting fc's when opening any messaging app. I may try to reflash.

I can also confirm this coming from a clean flash
Weird. I dirty flashed the last two updates and it's working like a champ for me.

idk if its just me but the torch isnt a burning, but wow this is getting good i went back to a stock based rom for a while and couldnt take it any longer flashed the latest build last night

Finally got it to work but took many tries.

Verizon wireless showed on network. Torch still broke. SMS in Hangouts is broke. Worked on the 4.4.1 build of yours. I'm not sure if it is 4.4.2 issue or CM11 related? I temporarily flashed another different CM11 4.4.2 build and it had the issue too. Went back to my 4.4.1 build for now as I prefer to use Hangouts SMS now.
