Is this a theme for the MIUI ROM or do you flash after wiping?
Go into Settings >> Sound >> Trackball color and change it from white to something else. FYI - Pink and Sapphire also don't work.

The one who can get the "Accounts and Sync" back in order without force closes from acore... you win.

This may also help. I turned off anything relating to the track ball and my leds work fine. Handcent doesn't blink but I may just need to change a setting there. All other LED notifications work as they are supposed too.
it seems small, only 9MB?

I'm getting bootloops whenever I try to uninstall anything or download something from the market. Anyone else having that issue? I wiped clean before install and installed the smoked dialer.
go into settings: applications, select market and clear data. That should get all of them back. It worked for me.
Try using the Market Doctor From Titanium Backup or just do a restore of all Apps using Titanium
Probably the easiest thing to do would be to do a nandroid restore to your previous ROM and then flash this over it without wiping. That's pretty much the concensus now on getting a good install with most things working. To get the stock dialer to work just go into constacts storage and clear data and the same for google sevices framework.

Yeah, i'm in the process of doing that now. was just hoping someone else was having the same problem and found a fix. Thanks for the help.
Still havent been able to get the stock dialer/contacts to work....I just flashed over my BB 0.5 backup and im about to go through the previous posted success directions again...wish me luck lol
edit: Flashed MIUI rom over BB 0.5 with no wipe, ran fix permissions in Rom Manager, cleared contact storage and google framework data in settings/apps/all and the stock MIUI dialer/contacts still FC's...damn this is frustrating....
I've done this procedure over Chevy's newest 4.8 themed and unthemed rom, BB 0.5 unthemed, ProjectElite themed and UD 8.0 themed all with no wipe and following the previously posted instructions...still a nogo, just FC's
