[ROM] Zen-MIUI v2 Android 2.2 + MIUI

I don't think the radio will. Droid doesn't have a radio reciever to pickup FM radio. Some guys were working on trying to get it to work but that was a long time ago and never heard anything about it working. So I'm guessing no radio.

Yes, radio apps do work on droid IE: go to the market there are radio apps there. This app doesn't however
those are for internet radio broadcasts (ie. over the intarwebz via your data plan), not FM (free, free as a bird, over the air)

FM Radio doesn't work for me....is there a trick
I think you have to use headphones for it to work on a droid, I may be wrong
Edit: Oops I didn't see jstaffords post

Correct, droid does have receiver but it has to enable Bluetooth and use headset as an antenna
you're not trying to suggest a bluetooth headset would be a suitable antenna are you? you would need wired stereo headphones. ya know, oldskool, with a wire, like on a tape or CD walkman.

anyway, I don't think anyone was able to get FM working on the d1, so the app that comes with the rom is just superfluous for now

So, using a different launcher kills a lot of its functionality. Also, in settings, going to the SD card option force closes. But otherwise its kind of cool.

Personally i love launcher pro, however this stock launcher is so snappy i dont even bother to change it. Also so far after applying the dialer fix, the only problem i have had is like you said. SD card and storage FC.

Im sticking with this rom for a bit, its worth it IMO. Change of pace :)

Is there anyway to create an app drawer on the stock launcher. I love the UI but can't stand having all my apps on my homescreens.

sent from the great depths of my phones internet (thanks Al Gore)

wired,...lol not bt

TuneIn app is a radio app, works fine and it grabs my local stations from gps....also my droid is off with verizon....its temp disconnected, so......?

ya i know why why **** would someone use a diffrent launcher that like kills the whole thing

I'm sticking with adw personally using this for the toggle widgets in the notification panel and the lock screen is awesome. Just as fast as any Rom out there. Well see if any other issues crop up.

Ok, use Android commander...(easy for me) to remove android updater which is the app that has the green arrow on the home screen in Chinese, next... to remove the Chinese folder created that has the apps inside you must drag each of them back to the launcher and then it will allow you to delete the folder in Chinese. I also used Android commander to remove stuff like the fm radio app and amazonmp3 app. I will give an update as to how this other backup app works.

Now its telling me the Framework is force closing and won't save any of my changes to the launcher set up or framework... interesting.

Is any of the functionality on this rom portable to a different rom such as cm6. For example, i would like to have the wifi/bluetooth ect. switches on cm6. Is there a way to do this or does it require framework-res changes. I would also like to use the contacts/dialer apps as well. If anyone has tried this please let me know.
