this is the rom on the moto droid for people who want to see the newer version of the rom on there own phone look here.

Wait so is that Zen's V2, a later version or a completely different rom?

Yes my video is of zen V2 and yes that widget is apart of the rom.

First of all thanks to all who have worked to make this ROM so awesome! I am still having a problem getting my contacts to sync with Facebook. They did at one point...( no profile pics). Now its back to not syncing. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there something that I am missing? I have been reading through all of the post trying to keep up with all of the stuff. Any info on this will be much appreciated.

Great work. I love this ROM as it shows the ROM community what is possible. A lot of ROMs look the same with slight differences; however, this one is so unique and fresh I hope it shows what is possible and what the community as a whole CAN do. Still can't get the phone to work without using the fix.. shame, as the phone looks pretty awesome! Thanks for fixxing the keyboard issue!!!

Weather app still not picking up location, but maps and nav working. I would like to request two changes, if at all possible.

1.) The lock screen only works with the default messanger, can we change that as I only use Handscent and I keep getting notifications from people I have blacklisted.

2.) The lock screen goes too far down, covering the time and date. It's not a huge issue, but my wife would switch to this ROM if she could see the time on her lock screen.

I don't use the default launcher as I can't stand not having shortcuts to direct dial's and or websites I visits often. The lack of App Drawer is ok, IF one could make a folder an place it in the status bar at the bottom... which you can't do. Way to many apps and games to have them all out in the open like that. Otherwise, ADWlauncher will continue to be used. Ahhh, and another point of contention, the inabilty to change the screen resolution to allow for more icons.

On the flipside of these issues.. there is this totaly unique ROM. The way it flips through desktop screens, adds widgets, lockscreen, and etc, and etc, and etc... This ROM should be a wake up call to all ROM developers. Do something different!

Not sure why your having these probs. I know for a fact you can use handcent as default on lockscreen. Maybe try going into applications and clearing defaults on stock mms app. Also my lockscreen does not cover the clock. Both are fine for me.

I have cleared the defaults for the stock MMS, Handcent works from the lockscreen, but the number of messages does not work. When a new message comes in, it shows 1 or how many I have but never clears until I go back to the stock MMS and clear them from there. So while Handcent does work fine, the message counter does not on mine. However I kinda like the stock MMS so just using that.

Yea the number counter is kind of what I wanted to get resolved... I pretty much started from scratch. The issue with the time/date came from Contact Owner... a lock screen option that allowed me to post a comment on my lock screen. Removed it, and time and date showing.

At this time, only experiencing two issues. The counter, and for some reason when someone from a group, like family, messages me, I can only reply to the group as a whole... Tick'n me off a bit. Wife sends me a txt and when i respond in handscent, or default app... Everyone gets the response x_X

That is the Favorite Contact widget found in the lower left of the widget menu.

Highlight the star next to your favs in contacts. Then add widget

I can read and translate the chinese no problem, but i can't edit a rom for my life!

This is hands down the SICKEST ROM I've ever seen on Android. Just installed by the instructions posted and I am already beaming with happiness! People always ask 'Why do you root?' and the best answer I could come up with was 'WHY NOT?!' and then I'd show them a couple apps that I could get and how I could change the color of things and they weren't SUPER impressed...this ROM is about to change that attitude I think. THUMBS UP for being awesome and different.

I do however wish I could get rid of that one random Chinese app? but who knows, that could be something cool to show people

go into system/app and rename updater.apk to updater.bak - thats what I did, and any other system apps that I dont use i rename to .bak

so i had this on my device last nite

I flashed this on and few issues other than the 2 apps on the home screen that are in chinese, the favorite contacts when i click a contact it force closes constantly.any ideas.

Thanks a ton! One other issue, can't seem to get Facebook to sync. I removed the Facebook account and now, I can't even add it again...I'll probably figure this out shortly but thought I would throw it out there.

Okay, so definitely not finding a fix to Facebook sync and it's kind of important since that's where 99% of my contact pictures come from :icon_evil: Any news on this? I know a lot of people are saying it did sync and now it doesn't and so on...so I expect its an issue that isn't resolved as of now?

Help with Contacts please. Force close everytime I try to open contacts. Installed the All in one patch and think the phone dialer patch too. Thanks. Looks cool but not sure yet.
