The major reason that you have to install the pre rooted GB leak before installing any GB roms is because of all the firmware updates that GB brings. Right?

Also for anyone wondering i have not sbf't at all with this install. I came right from the gingerbread leak. The only time you have to sbf is if you screw up something or the flash goes bad. Even when i went from 1.1 to 1.2 just backup wipe and install. Enjoy

I was wondering, is anyone else having problems with their contacts? I can view mine, and use the quick buttons by touching a users picture, but if i go in to edit a contact and view it, it crashes. Same with the config

I cannot recreate that problem. Tell me how you installed it and which rom you came from.

I installed the prerooted gingerbread, the one linked in the OP. I checked the md5sum on my sd card (busybox ftw).

I then installed that, let it boot, installed zombiestomped, right to 1.2. Wiped cache/data, installed marketpatch, then booted.

i didnt try my contacts until just now
I have a twitter and facebook account in social networking, synced to contacts it seems

Before installing zombie, you needed to wipe data/cache, not afterwards! If you wipe after, cron wont work.
So:

-Boot into clockwork
-Wipe data/factory reset
-Install ZombieStomped1.2.zip
-Install MarketPatch.zip
-Reboot

Should be all set then.

I've never had this issue, which version of zombie are you running? Any odd apps? Need more details to help you.

I'm running 1.2. I don't think have any odd apps, but that may be the cause... I just noticed the gps icon pops up in the notification bar before it reboots. Guess I've got some investigating to do.

Yep. Every time I drop it in my dock it reboots. Not when im only using the charger though, it only does it with the dock

GPS icon? That's very strange... I almost have to guess that would be some apps service that would cause that. All I can do is recommend a reflash or sbf.
