[ROM] ZombieStomped 1.5 (.588 GB Motoblur build)

Just flashed 1.5 and for some reason all of my apps are automatically downloading from the market. Anyone know how i can stop this for future roms? its taking forever, plus i have titanium backup which is how i had planned on restoring my apps.

Yeah. When you first startup the ROM and you get the "Touch the Droid" screen.
After you sign in with your gmail it asks if you want to restore all the information to your phone.
Uncheck this. But leave the one that says "use this phone as the backup".
Then go onto marketplace download titanium and restore backed up data and apps. :D Done.

Thanks! You just saved me tons of frustration. haha

Been a little confused regarding which TiBackup settings to use to back up apps and data and restore...specifically:

- What backup settings to get apps and app settings backed up
- What restore option to restore apps and app settings w/out hosing up anything

This is backing up apps/data/settings on Apex 1.4 (Froyo) and restoring on Zombie 1.5...appreciate any assistance.

i open ti backup menu/batch/back up all new apps......or back up all apps
then you can choose which one to back up or choose all of them
i do the same process to restore menu/batch/restore missing apps and data and i go down list and choose what apps i want to restore

thats how i use it and it works great
