If you factory reset after installing, you will lose cron.

Thanks Jboxen! I didn't realize this.

For those wondering what cron is, its used to schedule time based tasks. ZombieStomped uses it to purge vm caches twice per day, which is smart.

I've created the attached zip to be used for anyone who factory resets after installing ZombieStomped. In fact, I would suggest a factory reset after installing ZombieStomped to prevent any problems (such as my sync problem). Then, this zip will reinstall cron for you and set the correct permissions.

1) Put the zip on your sdcard.
2) Use either Droid X Bootstrapper with USB Debugging turned off, or Droid 2 Bootstrapper to get into recovery.
3) Install the zip.
4) Reboot phone, go into terminal emulator and type "pgrep crond". This isn't a necessary step but is only done to verify that cron is running. If it is, you should get a number (PID) back, mine was 1891.

That's it, you're done.

I've noticed two issues.

1) when i turn off my phone then turn it back on it boots into cwm recovery.
2) when the phone is on vibrate and my alarm goes off it takes it off vibrate.

Ive tried to replicate your alarm issue but I can't, my phone status on vibrate after alarm. However there is an option on the alarm for it to ring even on silent mode, maybe look into that.

Also, if your phone boots into clockwork then it had a problem shutting down (i.e., if it shuts off because it ran out of battery).

You would have no 3g. You need to install the .591 leak before installing this.

This ROM is the absolute TRUTH. It blows every single other thing completely out of the water. I was a Rubix fan before this, but it's not even close in terms of speed and especially stability (ZERO unplanned restarts or lock ups) and battery life (significantly the best this phone ever has had).

I am not a big fan of the theming, but whatever. I did my own wallpaper and use LP, so other than the top bar and the boot screen it's not really intrusive.

What a great job on this. Thanks so much, it's like a new phone. This ROM deserves it's own sticky/forum, it's WAY better than anything else out there, IMO, though I certainly do appreciate all of the work that went into those other ROMs as well.

You are nuts if you don't try this and see how much better your phone can perform.

I've been stomped for about three days now and this is a SOLID rom. Everything works as its supposed to and now issues with any of the apparently I had. Best battery life of all the roms I've tried. Def two thumbs up!

Yeah, everything loaded fine. Only problem was the phone reboots every single time I plug it in. usb or ac, always reboots right away except the one time I was on a call. Not 100% sure it is because I restored the data partition, but it didn't do this before I restored the data partition.
