Boy what a month it's been.

First I decide to spend some $$$ on a new phone.
Then "The Wait..."
Then the laptop just up an quits
Next it's the Microwave Oven
and this morning the cable modem/router ...

I get to work from home Monday's & Friday's but I got to be able to VPN and Remote Desktop to the office to work...

Pull out the Trusty NoteII - turn on the WiFi hotspot - hacked to work even though vzw says us unlimted folks shouldn't use the data we pay for how we see fit...

and Viola, I'm up and working while I wait for Charter to bring me new modem.

Gotta love the stuff these devices and some really smart Devs can accomplish

No Doubt CJ!!! Hopefully my sim tray get's here SOON and the NoteII can have the retirement it deserves. Gotta say that Note has been the best Android Device I've had to date, the Nexus got big shoes to fill!

That's fine, but you could be using your 6P in the meantime & just leave the tray in the package so you know it's safe.

Could - but unfortunately without a Build.Prop file edit I don't think the hotspot will work... I get your point though

Did they already close the loophole? When people first started getting the device, I read that tethering was working out of the box.

Do you use Google voice for voicemail?
Been reading about it and it sounds pretty easy to setup.

The VZW app for nexus apparently doesn't work, and I wouldn't mind depriving them of the $2.99/mo
