Hum, wrote a two scripts that contain the instructions listed in "Rooting with the 123 much simpler guide,no pc required". They root and unroot my Droid 2. If you want I can email the files to you with specific instructions on how to run them in your terminal emulator.

I had to write one script to install Rage* then you have to follow the directions to force close the emulator manually and run the second script which finishes up the job.

I would just attach it here but you can not unzip it; that is the only way I can upload it on here.

OK Ken, I rewrote the scripts so they work on an unrooted phone and emailed them to you. I tested them on my phone and they worked fine. Just make sure you have the files: su, superuser.apk, busybox and rageagainstthecage on the root (not in a folder) of your sd card and follow the instructions step for step in the email and you should be rooted soon.
