Btw, jw, what is boot looping? and in Spaz33g's sig, there is a thing about rooting by pc747. In it it talks about overclocking and having to do with kernels and stuff.
I just used the droid over clock app. Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks for the help : ) Got it working and chose the Wireless tether for root users ap0p. Hopefully my Ipad will be able to connect to it. Wont find out till sunday when Ill be able to unwrap it.

as long as you use wireless tethering and not barnical you will be alright barnical would NEVER let my ipad connect to it and for wireless tethering i had to connect it then reboot the ipad to get it to run right now theres no problems....just leting you know if you run into those problems

Kernels are not applicable here. We just need the app. And boot looping is when you make a mistake when flashing a rom/theme/whatever and the phone loops through the boot animation but never fully starts.

Set your oc back to stock before you unroot, other than that it doesn't really matter.

In another thread I just posted, someone replied and said the only app I would have to worry about is superuser.
If I unrooted from z4root, wouldn't superuser be deleted too?
(Just so you know, I only want to know how to do this ahead of time, in case I ever have to)

The only things I would worry about is removing the droid 2 bootstrapper first and then unrooting. This should get rid of cm recovery and also the super user apk.
