Rooting!!!

Im finally thinking about rooting my phone, but there seem like so many "softwares" to use. What do you guys recommend? What are the benefits of each one? Thanks again guys!

Well that's part of the fun in rooting your Droid is finding out what you like best. For me it is Bugless Beast v.7 (ESE53) using an Adamz LV kernel. YMMV so try out different combos and see what you like best! Have fun and remember ALWAYS make a backup before making a change. It WILL save your ass!

Ive done some searching and it looks like bugless beast is pretty good. But I cant really find out what the benefits of all of them are...

I have cyanogen 5.0.5.6 with flavored black ice theme which looks very slick and runs great. Using Bekits LV 1.0Ghz 5 slot kernal. Like Darkseider said poke around the android roms section of this forum and see what you like best and flash away!

I am running UD v9.0 with Adams LV 1.0gHz Kernal and Helix as my launcher...no problems whatsoever...keeps a great charge too...

well for starters are you running 2.1 because that will slow down your process and may stop it all together. since you will have to flash the 2.0.1 sbf. which depending on how much you want to root and rom.
