Rosie launcher auto rotate

Running into troubles flashing landscape rose on bamf 1.4. For some reason it gets stuck on clouds... No errors in logcat either.

If you open it that way, the apk is still compiled. When you open the XML all you will see is symbols. In order to edit it, you have to decompile it. You can do so with apktool or apkmanager. Search for it and you'll find it.

Twix will u be posting a landscape rose for das bamf 1.4?

Trying to get it to work. Talking with ThatDudeButch about it.

EDIT: So the reason why it is not working is because the Rosie included with 1.4 is a modified Desire Z Rosie. So for some reason it doesn't work the same way. He said he might take the Rosie settings out and port them over to their Rosie.

In order to have a working landscape Rosie you have to decompile the apk with baksmali and recompile it with smali.

I am using das BAMF 1.4. I downloaded the link from the first post without reading that there's a possibility it wouldn't work. It was while installing the update.zip from the SD card that I said a curse word under my breath, and thinking that I might mess something up. Well, the phone rebooted just fine and I didn't lose my Carbon Expresso theme. I used Drocap2 to make some screenshots to show it works. The only thing curious for me is the carbon expresso clock changes when turning it landscape.

It works with 1.4 but its not the same. If you look at your buttons they are not the same. The one from the first post is a modified stock Rosie from the Thunderbolt. The BAMF 1.4 Rosie is a Desire Z Rosie so the same trick doesn't work perfectly.

TDB said he might port the Rosie settings over to a Thunderbolt Rosie when he gets the chance.

Tested a little bit and found out the only difference between stock landscape Rosie and regular 1.4 is the transparent bottom. So if you are fine with losing that then just flash the first Rosie I posted.

When I first tested it, the Rosie settings didn't work so you couldn't change the launch button but now its working fine for some.reason...

Tried this on rooted stock Rom. Never got past the thunderbolt boot menu. I let it sit for about five minutes, then had to pull the battery and restore my backup.
Bummer. Was looking forward to having a rotating rosie launcher.
Did it not work because I'm still using the stock Rom?

Hey guys to further advance this I'm going to be changing each custom ROM's Rosie to add landscape functionality. Normally... I would flash each one and test it but I'm down one Thunderbolt for the moment so I am unable to test. If you guys don't mind I would love if you could try them and let me know if they work or fail. Thanks.

Now I just need a list of ROMs that are out there as I am not really "in the loop" with that.

I know:

Das BAMF
The Perfect Storm
VirusROM
Lightning, Lightning Lite
Tesla Coil

If I'm missing any let me know!
