RSD Lite doesn't register connection

I must be a few chapters behind you, Dj. the only admin rights I'm aware of popped up on the initial install. Ninja, that too is a great idea. But I've been searching google for 4.8, only to find 2.x-3.x & 4.9. The Ubuntu suggestion will be awesome if you can point a newb to a site that'll help me learn how to do such a thing. I'm dreading to see what google's gonna return when I query ' D2G Sbf through Ubuntu on Windows Vista'...

Don't use rsd lite then or roll back to 4.8. I stopped using rsd lite after these frustrations and started flashing with ubuntu. Never had a problem again. Ubuntu+sbf=win everytime.

You can't roll back to 4.8.. 4.9 is necessary to recognize the D2G's hardware.

While you have RSD Lite open, go to settings or it might be in the file menu, I'm not home so I can't see what they say. But in one of those you'll see it say "run as administrator", select that, then restart RSD Lite and see if your device shows up. It should

I don't have a settings option in either the program or its file. A configure option with no admin rights, but no settings.

Now I can't find it, naturally. I'll keep looking. Do you have first come first serve checked in the logging options?
