What about the targa is that scrapped droid bionic has my eye but it looks like a d3 to much so I'm not sure wether to wait on the targa I haven't heard anything about it.
No I havent seen the others I will check them out. I am not a fan of the boxy-ness and thickness of droid x or my d1. Its all preference though, I actually think the Charge looks good in terms of physical design for some reason, but most others dont. The new blur is looking better though.
To me the most interesting thing is it may be launching with the lapdock.
Not good for people hoping to get the Bionic and lock-in unlimited data. I can't imagine VZW launching that without going to tiers (consider that AT&T, which already had capped data, required the purchase of a tethering plan with the lapdock).
And in that scenario, if VZW were to go to buckets of data, I'd take something like the Asus Transformer over that lapdock any day.

compared to the recent "leaked" devices we seen last week(zaha and slimline etc..), this looks like a huge design fail. I was hoping for some kind of new look. it looks like a big droid 2...lame.
I agree 100%. If this is all they could come up with after all this time they should've just stuck with the original form factor, which I thought was pretty sexy.
Maybe once it is actually released it will look better in hand. Sometimes theses pictures don't do any justice. But I agree, about the physical design.
I've never gotten why some people care so much about how a phone looks. I always say if you want to make a fashion statement, invest in a nice watch or maybe some shoes. "Look at that loser with the ugly, bulky phone!"
Cracks me up. I just don't get how some people place so much more value on aesthetics over functionality. You want to see a work of art, I'll pull-up a 1080p pic of the Mona Lisa on my Bionic.
