I don't want my future Android pad tied to a required phone bill. This one is probably gonna require a $30 monthly bill. I just want a good wi-fi Android tablet.

This tablet sounds great. I'm hoping for a front facing camera for IM with family.

I think I agree because wi-fi is so prevalent. But, if Verizon is going to sell it then they'll probably want a 3G (or LTE?) contract. Hopefully it's cheap, good and here before Christmas.
