I recently flashed the hexen rom, and I love it, but a few apps that i had before are no longer available on the market, and i havn't found them elsewhere. I made a backup of my stock rom just before i sbf'd and flashed hexen, if i want to run than backup to create apk's from said apps onto my sd card, do i need to clear cache and factory data reset, before running the nandroid, or can i just simply run the backup from recovery and not worry about cache and data reset. I will be making fresh backup of hexen just before going through this process as well, naturally.
