Do yourself a favor. Buy an HTC phone. Samsung like Motorola is crap. Slow, unresponsive and ugly. Not to mention horrid support

Yes they are instores but they are not forsale yet. No you probly can't play with one unless the rep wants to loose their job.

...Also a side note. The Charge has a 1600 battery, the TB 1400. The Charge will probably have better battery life. It has a great screen and hdmi. Just wish it the ram and processor speed were not lame.

idk but im loving my t bolt they tried to convince me to get a charge but your right Samsung is crap

I dont get all the hate on this device.

it has a comlpetely different look to it that i actually like....EVERY HTC phone looks the same....they are nice, but i want something that is different.

samsung wont update it: i hightly doubt verizon would slap the DROID branding all over this and NOT push for serious updates for the device.

i have a feeling the price is hurting it more than anything else. the DROID branding doesn't warrany and extra $50 IMO.

as long as it preforms well (in every day use, not in quadrant or limpack) and has good battery life, this will be apretty good seller. i would consider it if i was looking for a new phone right now.

how is this? Moto may have a locked bootloader (for now) but not many people that use moto on a daily basis can bash the product (other than the bootloader)

the new blur is AMAZING and is going to rival HTC in terms of best manufacturer skin, their build quality is second to none, and the radios they use are TOP notch. i get better reception and call quality than any other phone i have seen or used.

I've played with the phone. It is super nice and it night be my next phone until a new moto comes out and if there is a decent developer community for it it might stick around. Its everything I wanted my x to be. The superamoled plus is asewone. It might not be qHD but I couldn't see the pixels at all.

I like the new blur to much to switch just yet but I'm starting to change my mind.

^Super Amoled Plus, the pixels dont show like it did with the previous Amoled screens. I would probably pick it over qHD. qHD uses the Pentile Matrix, and some ppl and reviewers say they notice the pixels. Super Amoled Plus either doesnt use the Pentile Matrix or they fixed the pixel issue.

The previous Amoled screens used the Pentile Matrix.

If you were worried that you wouldn't be able to go out and pick up a Samsung Droid Charge anytime soon then you can rest easy. Despite having nationwide 4G LTE problems and a slight 'delay' in the release of the Droid Charge -- they are at most Verizon locations. Buying one MIGHT be a bit tricky still but we expect them to be available for sale within the next few days.

If you are interested in the Droid Charge, we've got a dedicated site set up for it at Samsung Droid Charge Forum. You can click the thumbnails for full size images and behold the Droid Charge in all it's glory.

It was on display today here in coastal Georgia but the manager said he couldn't sell it to me yet.:icon_evil:

I'm in the market for a new Android phone and was compairing faults on the HTC Thunder w/ this phone. I read this phone initially had signal quality problems. Hope this isn't the case. Makes deciding on a new phone hard.

$749 full retail, walmart has em for sale....well the one here in roanoke rapids.

phones really nice in person, the buttons are a lot better then the droidx.

Engadget review says they got two full days on a charge while under normal use (i.e. using Lte, gps, etc.). That's damn good, not only compared to the Thunderbolt, but to any Android device so far. This phone may not be half bad after all.
