Hot on the heels of @DroidModderX 's awesome news that the Galaxy Note 5 might have a microSD slot after all, we also have a supposed confirmation that Samsung will be officially announcing the device on August 13th. According to the report, Samsung will also unveil the Galaxy S6 EDGE Plus at the same time. If true, this will be around the same date as our previous rumors revealed, but mashes both devices together on the same day.
On top of this report there is further evidence to support an August reveal for the Galaxy Note 5. A device with the model number SM-N920F recently entered India for R&D purposes, and was spotted by the local import export website Zauba.
While we cross our fingers that the Note 5 will indeed include the microSD slot, we can at least be comforted by the fact that we won't have to wait long to find out for sure.
