Samsung Galaxy S22 Pro Cannot Suppress Spam

Phone app, Settings, Block Numbers, "Block calls from unknown numbers" is enabled, yet I continue to get fraudulent spam calls from numbers not in my Contact list. Last week, Verizon activated "Call Filter" app, which had no effect on the fraudulent spam calls. My wife's iPhone has no problem directing all "unknown" caller ID calls to voice mail. Why cannot I do the same with my Droid?

That's very weird the only thing I can think is to maybe clear the phone app cache and data then restart the phone and double check again to make sure you have the spam blocking with unknown turned on
